By popular demand I'm setting up an impromptu Saturday ride! Thought we might make a winding tour thru various and sundry parts of the county and end up watching the gliders at the Torrey Pines Glider Field. Bring a picnic lunch to eat there
Meet at Gelato Vera at 10:30 and Kick Stands UP (KSU) at 11:00 a.m.

Ride with the World Famous Pharaohs Scooter Club. This week we will be meeting at a nice local coffee shop in North Park. Claire De Lunes on Kansas and University across the street from Starbuckz and only blocks from 30th and university. We meet at 7:30 ish and Ride out at 8:30 P.M. Sharp. During the ride you can easily expect to see some of San Diego's hidden routes and awe inspiring sights. You may be advised to bring along a hankey because our rides have been known to bring a tear to the eyes of mere-mortals.

Overnighter March 27-28. Meet Saturday morning 8-8:30 AM at parking lot by Starbucks and IHOP, east of 58th and University. Pre-ride talk 8:45, leave promptly at 9 (note change from earlier time.) Maps and details provided. Ride 79 miles to free, primitive Yaqui Pass CG via Dehesa Road, 79, Banner Grade, 78 through desert; "fly" up over desert on Yaqui Pass Road. Camp early (shortly after noon.) Schmooze, optionally ride to valley in afternoon and look at some flower areas. Relax with cookout around campfire; Dutch Oven desserts baked by host for all.
Sunday morning, optional free pancake breakfast supplied by host. Ride 12 mi to Visitor Center in Borrego, past the famous giant iron sculptures on Borrego Springs Road; optionally walk up Palm Canyon to palm oasis and waterfall, or cruise around valley or adjacent roads. Rendezvous and ride back via Montezuma Valley Road, Ranchita, Santa Ysabel, Ramona (about 80 miles.) Total 171 miles, plus any side trips.
Sag trailer will be along, and can carry camping gear and spare fuel and water for those who'd have trouble carrying it on scooters. (Can bring gear to host's house a day or two before.) Park people predict a very good and slightly late flower year. Ride the famous (unfairly maligned) Banner Grade and Glass Elevator in one trip, safely! Magnificent mountain, lake, forest and desert scenery; superb country riding.
Check tires, brakes, engine and all vital fluids and be sure you start with a full tank. Review the group-riding procedures. (Sorry, but this long ride with hills probably is a bit much for 50cc scoots.)

Time for some great south of the border Mexican Food at La Palapa in Lakeside. But this is no direct route folks. We will be heading out for a nice loop. Directions will be posted on the boards, but we will Meetup at Lestats @ 9:30am and KSU @ 10:30am. Our ride will take us through the now very green hills of Black Mountain and loop over to Poway before dropping down the 67 to Lakeside for some lunch. Ride will head back out after eating ending at Motorsports Scooter.

Join Perry and friends meetup with the LA Scooter Meetup group for the annual Do-Dah Parade in Pasadena. Continue to check back for additional information. $10 per person fee for parade (Do-Dah requirement) Kick in for gas and costumes
I need to limit this to 10 to 12 scooters due to the trailer. If others want to ride up on the freeway please join us. Indicate in your RSVP if you need trailering
The Parade is not a SDSS event.
